Murshid Ali, founder of Huddlestock is revolutionizing hedge fund world

Huddlestock, is a young and promising startup founded by Murshid Ali (GEM MIB 2010) in 2014 by and hosted in Level39 accelerator in London.

What’s Huddlestock  about?

Born with the idea to "open up the hedge fund world for everyone», this Fintech actor, aims at becoming a major player in the investment industry. Huddlestock is a scalable digital platform that will open the investment industry to large numbers of people that don’t currently have access by lowering numerous barriers, such as instant access to investment ideas, unparalleled ease of investing, low fees, and the capability for anyone (that are good at investing) to set up fund-like structures within Huddlestock.

Huddlestock intelligently brings together pools of funds from the public on the one side with great investment opportunities on the other. Regulated in the UK, the company plans to launch after summer 2016 for money trading. The company, whose motto it «trade ideas, not stocks», has the ambition to create a system that transcends traditional barriers and that gradually will evolve into a new paradigm for a whole industry.

What's burning hot for them?

Huddlestock is currently competing for the Best Newcomer category at the Nordic Startup Awards challenge. Finals Rounds will take place between April 21st and May 3.

Made In Gem

Norwegian, technology savvy, seasoned young entrepreneur and artist (as he described himself), Ali holds a Phd in Economics from the University of Stavanger, as well as a Master in International Business from Grenoble Ecole de Management. Good luck for the competition! We keep fingers crossed until votes’ results get revealed.
